Stop schooling. Start educating: enjoy, stimulate kids with interesting stuff like games, music, sports, good books, and newspapers, etc. Ask them to show what they can and help them do more and help each other,

Abolishing all quizzing and testing at every level except where, obviously, licensing exams are sometimes necessary in certain fields,
So that
Each college, graduate school, and business must give their own, on-site tests and interviews to determine who will be accepted while the previous institution may provide a portfolio, not grades,
And never forget that
We’re a thinking creature from the day of birth; i.e. we NEED to learn and are born curious and creative which is why homeschooling/unschooling is so effective and easy – especially if we turn off the TV set and set strict limits regarding all electronic gadgets,
And obviously
We’ve got to stop making kids feel like they’ve already failed before their lives have hardly begun; i.e. Academia must do something different before the nation goes down the tubes.
